Jann is a super dorky 40 something (seriously, she can never remember how old she is), living in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada with her wife. She loves all things tea, especially antique tea ware and patents. She’s not a jam jar, but here are some labels that she easily slaps onto herself: happily introverted, her anxiety has anxiety, dances freely, lives with fibromylagia, scorpio, cat lover, Xennial, over-thinker, Apple fan-girl and an INFJ-T.
She loves designing stickers, curating antique teaware boxes, and of course creating YouTube videos. Most of all, she loves connecting with kind people across the globe. You can connect with Jann at: www.teawithjann.com or on Instagram at: @teawithjann.

After climbing the corporate ladder for nearly a decade, she took a sabbatical and moved to California to unplug and live in an ashram for a year. It’s been her greatest passion to help others find happiness through adversity, by leaning into ancient wisdom. With that, she founded Pure Minds, a social enterprise that conducts mindfulness and meditation workshops and is the co-author of the International Bestseller, Let That Sh*t Go. Self love is a topic that I have been overthinking a lot more in the past year. Loving yourself can be especially tough when you are fighting against a mental illness that wants to do the exact opposite. My anxiety and my depression work against me every day in this work of falling in love with myself, but I'm up for the challenge.
(By the way, please ignore the lawn mower in the background for about a minute at the twenty-six minute mark. I'm trying hard not to overthink about it;) "Self-love means that I have a relationship with myself built on trust and loyalty…I’ll disappoint everyone else before I’ll disappoint myself." – Glennon Doyle

A JUNO nomination, MuchMusic Video Award noms, multiple East Coast Music and Music Nova Scotia Award wins, John has grown his band In-Flight Safety from small-town art project to the world stage. From David Bowie’s email endorsement in the early days to some iconic Film & TV placements, European tours and radio play on the BBC, John has kept busy since day one.
John’s deep fascination with making music was born the day the Mullane family acquired its first home synthesiser in 1987. By 17, he was recording his own songs on a 4-track cassette recorder. Shortly thereafter - inspired by bands like Sigur Ros - his attention turned to a cinematic brand of rock music that lead him to form In-Flight Safety. Since In-Flight Safety’s ‘Conversationalist’ album cycle winded down John has been pointing his focus outward. Using an artistic process he developed over years of collaborations he has been spending his time of late producing and co-writing with other artists. By using his skills for concise effective ideas, and feet-up ideas John’s current priority is helping artists find their own creative point of view.
