In my twenty-ninth episode, I am joined by Riley Winsor as we overthink about SOBRIETY. Riley is 24 years of age and originally from Cape Breton but made the move to Truro during his early teen years. He is now a barista and yoga teacher here in Truro and has settled into this little community quite well. When he’s not slinging coffees or guiding people through vinyasas, he can be found frolicking through the many amazing trails of Victoria Park and actively getting his sh*t together. Whether that be deep diving into self-reflection or working up a sweat however he can that day - there’s never a dull moment and always work to be done. After many years of over-the-top partying and letting loose, Riley has recently rebranded as a self-improvement junkie and feels as though he has a new lease on life thanks to his past 7 months of sobriety. Riley is an open book when it comes to his journey with sobriety and struggles with addiction over the past 10 years and has learned through his own personal experience that the best way to get through these issues is to talk about them. |

Episode 27 | Let Me Overthink About... Passion
In my twenty-seventh episode, I am joined by Elsie Morden as we overthink about PASSION. Elsie Morden is a 25-year-old singer, songwriter, and speaker. She has performed at Canadian Country Music Week. The Music Nova Scotia "Country Recording of the Year" Award Nominee's full-length album was co-produced and written entirely by Elsie. The album reached #28 on the iTunes chart, had a top 100 song on Canadian country radio, and has over 650,000 streams on Spotify. Elsie is currently working on her next release and second full-length album. Elsie is a national ambassador for Kids Help Phone and the Founder and CEO of registered Canadian charity No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society. She has delivered over 600 presentations across Canada speaking about bullying prevention, mental health awareness, neurodiversity awareness, LGBTQ+ visibility, and youth empowerment - directly impacting over 150,000 students. In 2020, she was recognized as one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 30 Under 30. Overall, Elsie Morden serves as an ideal role model, and there is no doubt that she will continue to inspire all! |

Episode 22 | Let Me Overthink About... Dance
In my twenty-second episode, I am joined by my pal Josee Bourgeois as we overthink about dance. Josee Bourgeois is an Algonquin first nations band member of Pikwakanagan, Ontario, raised in Toronto. For the past decade, Josee has been focused on evolving as a professional dance artist in Canada, fusing her love and knowledge of powwow dance fundamentals with contemporary and hip hop dance styles. This fusion of dance style that Josee has coined into Powwow Step Groove classes delivered on line, has recently captured the national attention of both CBC Indigenous and CTV's television show, The Social. Josee has collaborated with fellow artists such as DJ's Rise Ashen, Shub, STOiK, and Classic Roots. Josee has also performed multiple times as a solo artist or with dance troupe Kina Nimiwag with the National Arts Centre, Blues Fest Canada (opening for the Backstreet Boys). Josee will continue to explore the limits of her imagination and achieve everything she can manifest as a female indigenous dance artist on Turtle Island throughout the rest of her dancer journey. |

Tyler Simmonds is an Award Winning, Canadian Film Director and Keynote Speaker on mental health and mindfulness. Tyler has spoken at many notable events such as TEDx and We Day. His is clearly a message that resonates with many. Her seventh album, COYOTE, is a self-produced release that is a travelogue through heartbreak, loss and the joy of life. Catherine took home a Juno Award in 2015 for her standout album, The Raven's Sun, and she has also been recognized with multiple East Coast Music Awards, Canadian Folk Music Awards, and Music PEI Awards.
